Laos determined to strengthen forest governance: Partners

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Lao government has continued to combat illegal logging, and promote trade in legal timber products and sustainable forest management, according to the FLEGT Standing Office.

As part of the continuous effort, multiple stakeholders from line ministries, civil society organisations, and the private sector came together in Vientiane last week for the ‘Negotiation Support and Development Committee (NSDC)’ meeting to review progress and the roadmap toward forest governance.
